To be eligible for the HAPIE Awards, projects must have been officially released between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025.

✅ If your work on the project was completed in 2024, but the project was released in 2025, it is eligible.

Yes.  We hope Houston has its own Meryl Streep.

Yes, we understand that production people wear many hats, so feel free to submit to as many categories as you are eligible for.   You will need to pay the fee for each entry.

In order for our judges to get an understanding of your skills, we ask you to send us a sample of your eligible work up to 2minutes.  This can mean a compilation if you have several award worthy projects or scene(s) from a film. You want to showcase the skill in your category.  Writers pick the most powerful scenes or a full 60 commercial or corporate piece.  Editors may want to show a compilation.  Music scores may want to show a scene or full piece of work.  Some positions such as AD will want to showcase the work that showcases scenes that show the logistics and planning involved.  Use your best judgement.  Reach out with additional questions info@htxproducers.com

This is a big concern for many crew members who are hired as freelance.  The work you submit is strictly for judging and to show at the live event if you're a finalist.  It will not be featured online or in public.  Finalists and winners will have their name  featured on our website for the upcoming year.

The HAPIE Awards are not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant.

We believe firmly that there is strength in numbers.  To see a large highly skilled production workforce in Houston only strengthens our ability to attract higher caliber projects.

Your information will remain on our website and socials for the duration of the award year.
