2025 Fall invitational luncheon

Building Production Soundstages in Houston

The next chapter of Texas production  has begun —and Houston is positioning to compete.

With the passage of Texas Senate Bill 22, hundreds of millions in state incentive funds are now on the table for film, television, and media production. The moment to position Houston as a leading destination for large-scale production investment is now.

Join the Houston Association of Producers (HAP) for an exclusive, invitation-only luncheon bringing together the decision-makers shaping Texas’ production infrastructure.

Our featured speakers—Heather Page and Mindy Benson, co-founders of The Shine Co.—are two of Texas’ most influential forces in film development. Heather, former Texas Film Commissioner, architected the Media Production Development Zone (MPDZ) grant program and served as interim facilities manager at Austin Studios. Mindy, former Executive Director of TXMPA, has overseen sound stage operations in Bastrop and across the state. Together, they’re helping producers and developers build the next generation of Texas sound stages—including the newly announced facility for The Chosen in Midlothian, TX.

Daisy Stall, Executive Vice President, Head of Entertainment Finance – California Bank & Trust will provide incites on production financing and tax incentives. With over 30 years in finance and 25 in the media and entertainment sector, she is a leader in structuring funding for studios and creative ventures. She has managed global liquidity for a $7 billion media corporation and guided major mergers, acquisitions, and market expansions. At California Bank & Trust, she helps production and development partners turn creative vision into financial reality.

This luncheon convenes commercial developers, investors, financial institutions, city and county officials, and producers—those who understand that infrastructure is destiny.

This event is free to invited guests.  Seats are limited.  Please RSVP.
