Judges are looking for strong drawing skills, a deep understanding of storytelling techniques, excellent visual composition, knowledge of camera angles and framing, the ability to adapt to different art styles, and a clear comprehension of the script to translate it effectively into visual sequences on the storyboard.  No AI or computer generated storyboards allowed.  Spec storyboards are eligible.

Judges are looking for excellence in color theory and how color can influence mood and storytelling, a strong combination of technical expertise in color grading software.
